Dr. Mehul Shah, a New Jersey native, received his undergraduate degree from Boston University and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology/ Neuroscience. He attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where graduated top ten with honors. While in medical school, he simultaneously received his Master’s in Public Health degree from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Shah completed his Anesthesiology residency and his Interventional Pain Management fellowship at Tufts University/Baystate Medical Center. Dr. Shah is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and also board certified in Pain Medicine.
He is a firm believer in patient-centered care and utilizes a multimodal approach when assessing all patients. He is skilled at performing state-of-the-art interventional procedures. He also applies his specialized knowledge in osteopathic techniques to aid in the treatment process to help patients obtain the highest quality of life. Dr. Shah’s interests in pain medicine include back pain, neck pain, neuropathic pain, complex regional pain syndrome, postoperative/ non-operative chronic knee pain, hip pain, and neuromodulation.
