Dr. Pinke graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Science. He then received his M.D. from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, followed by an Internship at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, also in New York City. He completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the prestigious Cullen Eye Institute of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Pinke has been in private practice since 1988, with offices in Denville and Mt. Arlington, New Jersey. From 2001 to 2019, he has been recognized annually by Castle Connolly’s peer-physician reviewers as one of America’s “Top Doctors” in the New York Metro Area. In addition, Dr. Pinke has been consistently selected by Inside Jersey Magazine as a “Top Doctor.”
Dr. Pinke, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Also, he is a member of the New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology and of the Morris County Medical Society. He is on staff at St. Barnabas Medical Center and Chilton Memorial Hospital, and has had the longstanding role as Chief of Ophthalmology at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville and in Dover.
